Chocolate Mint Chip Meltaways

This is round 2 of my quest for the best cotton candy flavoring. You may remember my cotton candy mints recipe where I tried the LorAnn Cotton Candy Flavor. In my humble opinion, the Duncan Hines Cotton Candy Flavor Mix tastes much more like cotton candy and colors your creations a lovely shade of blue! I made meringues and piped 2…
Today I wanted to make something to celebrate Autumn, something with lovely spices in it that would be perfect with a cup of Earl Grey! Well my Autumn Spiced French Macarons fill the bill!! A yummy macaron with Autumn spices in the cookie and in the buttercream! These macarons definitely say “Welcome Fall!” With Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Allspice, Mace and Cloves,…
I‘ve often thought it would be fun to bake shortbread cookies in my Madeleine pan. Then I ran across today’s recipe in a Southern Living Annual Cookbook. I adore shortbread and this recipe seemed perfect for this time of year. There’s orange zest in the cookie and in the icing and they are delicious with a…
Today I baked something that I’ve been wanting to bake for a while. Paula Deen’s Lemon Blossoms! It’s a really easy recipe that includes yellow cake mix and lemon instant pudding mix. Oh thank you! I just found my 3rd and final kind of cookie for the holidays – and to share at my swap.
You are such amazing inspiration and make the most beautiful sweeties! : – )
Oh Yay!! I love Cookie Swaps!! Thanks so much for your kind words!! You made my day!!
Wow! I love lemon meltaways and I definitely have to try your version!
They are really good!! If you can't get the Duncan Hines Flavor Creations where you are, you could use a bit of food coloring and peppermint extract, then just toss the cookies in plain powdered sugar. Thanks for visiting and hope you have a wonderful Holiday!!
They look amazing and I bet they taste so delicious!
