My family can’t get enough of it because it’s so crazy delicious!!!!! Plus, it’s a great way to use those over-ripe bananas! Just look at this GORGEOUS BATTER!!! Doesn’t it make your mouth water?!!…
I was recently asked a question about chocolate tarts for a group of 450 people, and I immediately thought of these Chocolate Ganache Tarts. I wanted to post this recipe for that person and anyone else who needs a quick & easy tart recipe! I made these tarts for a group of 200. They were part of an afternoon tea…
Today my daughter and I made cute little Ruby Tea Cookies, yummy little almond and orange cookies sandwiched with raspberry jam! The recipe came from a cookbook called “Fairy Cooking.” It’s a really cute cookbook that any little girl would love! It’s full of mini delights including “Pretty Fairy Fudge,” “Swirly Pink Cookies,” “Tiny Fairy Cakes,”…
Today I’m revisiting a recipe that I blogged about in 2011. I’ve made many recipes since then but this recipe is one of my signature pastries! The texture is like a firm but soft pound cake and very moist! If you’ve always wanted to try making Petits Fours but were afraid to try, you need to make these! You will need…
I love Nutella and I love Meringues, so when I saw this recipe for Nutella Meringues, I couldn’t wait to try them!! The meringue batter alone is so delicious, the meringues almost didn’t make it to the oven!! It’s a cinch to make – just a basic meringue recipe that you swirl softened Nutella into. Delicious!!! Your sugar cookies look so tasty and sparkly. I love a firm but soft sugar cookie and wish I had one of yours right now. I have that same Pamered Chef cookie scoop and love it! I love HomeGoods, too.
Thanks for sharing this easy recipe. I love my cookie scoop too! It makes it easier and fun.
Jina, I think LandOLakes must have made their cookies thinner in order for them to be crisp. Your cookie is thick enough to remain soft even with longer baking. They look perfect! And so pretty. I use a scoop for my cookies, too, because I'm a little obsessive about them being exactly the same size! 😀 These would go so nicely with a cup of tea.
I think you're right Jean – their recipe made a lot more cookies than mine, so their cookies must be smaller and thinner! I like them both ways!! I'm with you – a nice cup of tea and a couple of these buttery cookies and I'm set!! Thanks so much for you comments!! Jina
I want to submit your violet macarons to Teatime magazine. Would you be interested?
I would be so honored Vivian!! THANK YOU! Jina
