Tiny Heart Shortcakes with Strawberries

I have another cookie recipe to share from my cookbook called Lee Bailey’s Country Desserts. These are absolutely delicious!! A Praline in cookie form with just 4 ingredients! These cookies are like a cross between a meringue and a Praline – a bit crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside! So incredibly good…
Today I decided to try another recipe for Coconut Ice. I was first drawn to this lovely English Sweet by the color! I love anything pink! There aremany different recipes for this candy and the first recipe I tried camefrom a cute cookbook called Life is Sweet, which actually comes from the owners of a cute British Sweet Shop called Hope…
Today’s recipe for Lemon Tartlets comes from Tea Time Magazine! I love their gorgeous magazine full of beautiful recipes and Tea Time inspiration!! These tarts, which use ready made pie dough, are easy to make and so delicious! So first, unroll the pie dough onto a lightly floured surface. Using a 3″ round or scalloped cookie cutter,…
Today I made some yummy Lemon Almond Meringues from Joy the Baker! They’re lovely light cookies with a hint of lemon from lemon zest and a splash of lemon juice. Then there’s toasted ground almonds in the cookie, and sliced almonds on top! I have a thing for egg whites! If I see any recipe with egg whites…
This is round 2 of my quest for the best cotton candy flavoring. You may remember my cotton candy mints recipe where I tried the LorAnn Cotton Candy Flavor. In my humble opinion, the Duncan Hines Cotton Candy Flavor Mix tastes much more like cotton candy and colors your creations a lovely shade of blue! I made meringues and piped 2…
Today I’m revisiting a recipe that I blogged about almost 3 years ago – Cream Wafers! I can’t believe it’s been so long since I made these yummy cookies! Cream Wafers are wonderful little buttery bites that remind me of piecrust cookies with a delicious buttercream filling. These cookie sandwiches aren’t overly sweet because the doughdoesn’t have any sugar in it – just a sprinkling…

Oh the heart scones look delicious… Thanks for sharing.
These look delicious and I am sad we're in autumn here and there's not a strawberry to be seen! I shall have to think of some nice autumn fruit I can use instead. I love the basis of the idea – having tiny little scones. Just perfect for afternoon tea.
Jina,
These are so pretty. They would be just right for the Mother Daughter Valentines Tea Party I co-hostess .
Thank you for the inspiration,
Nina
They would be perfect! (In my opinion, my recipe for the Lemon Bunny Scones was better than this recipe. You could just cut out hearts instead of bunny shapes and decorate them with berries & Whipped cream!)
I will look at the recipe thank you.
